Checklist for Yoga Teacher Training

1. Your towel (for your shower).

2. Bring along Soap, Shampoo, Cream and all hygienic products you may need. You can still buy these at our shop whenever you require though the trademark might differ from yours.

3. You will be provided Indian Tea (Chai) and Black Coffee. In Mysore, you can not easily find Herbal Tea; should you prefer to have herbal tea, please bring it with you.

Registration

1. Bring a copy of any identity proof such as an Aadhar card/Driving Licence/ Passport/Voter ID.
2. You will sign the printed copy of the “Student Disclaimer Form” at the reception after you arrive at the Ashram.

Practice

1. Your Yoga Mat - please note that our Ashram is located in nature, on the outskirts of Mysore. You won't be able to go to town to buy a Yoga mat when you are on site. Hence please bring your own yoga mat.

2. Morning will be fresh. Bring a comfortable long sleeve sweater and socks that can help in the night or early in the morning before the practice.

3. Keep shawls, scarves and tops which cover the shoulders. You can wear clothes of your comfortability during the practice. However, you are expected to cover your shoulders and knees while walking to the river or spending your leisure time.

4. Water Container for the filtered water, you will be able to fill your container with filtered water provided at the ashram.

Your Stay

Money

1. Once you have reached our Ashram, you won't have access to any ATM. However, you can bring cash in your currency and exchange the same in Mysore during the day off. Exchanging the money at the airport is also an option, though the exchange rates aren’t reasonable.

2. If you have chosen to pay the remaining amount for the course after your arrival, please carry the money with you. You will have to confirm the same via email. You will be completing the payment on the day of Initiation (before the initiation) while completing all

other formalities.

3. It is not recommended to withdraw cash in an ATM in India. You will not be able to withdraw more than 10,000 INR (approx 120 Euros) at a time. Your bank will levy a transaction fee for withdrawal. It is recommended to carry the money in your currency if you need to use cash to pay here for the course, for your shopping around as well. You can easily exchange the currency almost everywhere in Mysore. 

Medicine

1. Bring your own medicine if necessary. For example, Arnica in homoeopathy will be good for muscles and strain. If you intend to buy it through small caps, take 9CH Arnica. 

2. For mosquito bites Ledum Palustre in homoeopathy is also very good, if you intend to buy it through small caps, take the 4 CH or 9CH.

3. For women - bring your own Personal Hygienic Products (Tampax can be hard to find in India).

4. Bring some Tiger Balm with you if you are not allergic to it. It is good for muscles and for mosquito bites too.

5. Bring along common medicine such as Aspirin, Tylenol, and Advil if you feel it's necessary.

6. Products for your lenses, if you wear any contact lenses.

Some more info

a. SMOKING & DRINKING ALCOHOL during the training is strictly prohibited.

b. Wifi - The course fee includes the WiFi facility. However, you can bring your laptop or phone if needed, as we do not have student workstations.

c. Refundable deposit will be necessary for the Laundry service and the shop (Toilet Paper, Soap etc.). You can buy things for basic needs in our small shop for the same prices as in the supermarket.

At the end of the course, you will get the money you haven’t used. You will be informed about the prices for the Laundry at the office.
