Swamiji of Yoga Ashram

The Presence of Swami Visharadananda Ji

The Ashram also has a divine presence of a monk, a Yogi called Swami Visharadananda Ji initiated in the tradition of Swami Dayananda Saraswathi, who has been exploring the hidden facets of the human system for the last six decades.

With the glorious legacy of his gurus, he works on his inner research. He neither gets involved in any activities nor is students asked to meet him. His divine presence can awaken the practitioners' inner flames of Yogic life.

It is such a rare combination of little girls learning and exploring the Yogic and Vedic wisdom while a yogi manifests his universal consciousness.

Cavery Kanya Gurukulam

To bring the great Yogic and Vedic heritage back to society, an ancient education system called “Cauvery Kanya Gurukulam” is established here, only for girls.

A small number of girls stay here, learn Yoga, and the Vedas, speak Sanskrit and train in Music and fine arts while becoming professionals in the field of psychology. It is one of our place's inspiring aspects when you explore yourself during the yoga training.

You will get the rare opportunity of observing the real Gurukula system of education, which prevailed until the Buddhist period of Indian history.

CAUVERY RIVER

for Meditation and Introspection

There is a small island wherein you can sit and deepen your meditation in front of the divine river Cauvery. You can relax and introspect during your leisure time.

The river and this small island have given a completely transforming, soul-awakening perspective to the Ashram and its activities.

YOGA ASHRAM – FAQs

Yoga Ashrams are fascinating, and every Yogi/Yogini wants to be involved in a complete immersion in the Yogic Journey. However, most often, we are not very comfortable with the functionalities of the Ashram. Here are some details that will help you know Samyak Yoga Ashram better.

WiFi

We have a specially equipped leased line Wi-fi facility which makes internet usage hassle-free. You can browse anytime apart from the sessions. Please bring your own devices for browsing.

Laundry

Getting your clothes washed and ironed with one of our staff taking care of the Laundry is possible. A nominal charge per piece is charged.

We request our students to minimize the use of chemical soaps, washing powders, and shampoos in the bathrooms, as we are keeping our land free from all chemicals.

A Small Shop

You can buy the required stuff such as washing powder, pens, toothbrushes etc for your daily life from the store in the office. The brands of the products may vary. Hence, if you are particular about a specific brand, bring it along.

Electricity

There are days when there can be power cuts. However, we have UPS Battery backup for all rooms and teaching Shalas (halls), besides the silent Diesel Generator for emergencies.

We request our students not to waste power, especially when we are on batteries during the daytime.
