Jaiprakash Singh

Jayacharya (Jaiprakash Singh) is a dedicated yoga teacher who blends deep anatomical understanding with traditional practice. His mystical yet simple approach to life and yoga makes his teachings both insightful and transformative.

Early Life & Ashram Roots

Yoga has been a part of my life since childhood, as my parents often sent me to the ashram. Over time, what began as a simple routine became my way of living. For more than 12 years, I have consciously offered seva in the ashram, learning the art of slowing down and living mindfully. The monks guided me through bhajans, kirtans, satsangs, kathas, and Vedanta discussions, which deeply shaped my spiritual outlook.

Education, Work & Life Experiences

Alongside ashram life, I pursued my education, completing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and later working with corporate companies and startups. I was also a professional boxer for two years, until an injury became a turning point in my journey. That phase led me to rediscover travel, simplicity, and the deeper essence of living.

My travels across India and the Himalayan regions of India and Nepal introduced me to diverse traditions of yoga and tantra, enriching my personal practice and broadening my perspective.

Journey in Yoga

After recovering from my injury, I returned to Hatha Yoga, gradually progressing into Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, where I continue advancing through the Intermediate Series.

Through yoga, I have found a state of neutrality and balance. Today, I share what I have learned from my gurus, teachers, and the Indian scriptures, blending tradition with lived experience.
