200 Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Intensive – February 2021 is an intensive residential immersion in the traditional Hatha Yoga Practice and its philosophy.
200 Hour Traditional Hatha Yoga
200 Hour Traditional Hatha Yoga Teacher Training is an intensive training for yoga practitioners who want to deepen their practice and or aspire to become Hatha Yoga Teachers. During the training, you will be learning to teach from Day 2.
You will be learning the subtle tools and techniques of asana practice, the hands-on adjustments, right usage of props in deepening your practice, building your self-practice, creating traditional Hatha Yoga sequences under the guidance of the lead teachers and teaching in the groups.

Traditional Hatha Yoga Practice
The early morning practice brings you the traditional style of Hatha Yoga. This practice is built slowly from the first week to the last week. The intensity gets deeper from intermediate to advanced level of practice.
Hatha Yoga Teacher in Making
There is a session every day that focuses on the safe practice of every asana, subtle alignment techniques, modifications and variations for different levels of practice and preparations deepen the practice.
How to sequence Hatha Yoga Classes
How to create a traditional Hatha Yoga Classes? What are traditional rules in creating a Hatha Yoga Class? How to modify classes based on different levels of classes? We discuss in detail all about Sequencing.
The Art of Hands-on Adjustments
You will be working every day on the art of hands-on adjustments. With an understanding of safe assistance to the students, you get to know how different bodies respond to the asanas differently.
Learn & Teach Pranayama and Meditation
The practice of Pranayama and Meditation is part of the daily schedule. You will be practising traditional Pranayama and Meditation as well as learning how to teach them properly to different levels of students.
This everyday session, of course, covers the fundamentals of Hatha Yoga Philosophy, Chakras & Nadis, Yoga Sutras of Patanjali etc. but it also shows how philosophy can be so fascinating for daily life practice.
Yoga Anatomy is not just about the muscles. It is understanding the movements, their impact on the body-mind and how the world within changes. Yoga Anatomy sessions will be one of the most interesting aspects of the training.
Practicing Jala Neti & Trataka are significant as they enhance your ability to purify the respiration and enhance the focus of the mind respectively. These are the two major tools we require on the path of Yoga.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it safe for a single female traveler to travel alone?
It is completely safe to travel to Samyak Yoga. We arrange transportation from the airport as soon as you arrive at the arrival gate. We do not outsource the facility, instead, the drivers we send are known to us for a long time. They are safe to travel with.
Should I wait for other students during pick up at the airport?
No. One of the staff members will be there to receive you at the arrival gate. The transportation is arranged for every individual student. However, if someone is traveling on the same flight that of you, we will let you know in advance and you can travel together.
What about money exchange?
You can make any remaining payment at Samyak Yoga in any currency. However, you will need some INR for your shopping. You can exchange your currency into INR during your visit to Mysore city during day-off.
What can I do during my day-off?
Every seventh day of the training is a break for the classes. During this training, 7th, 14th and 21st of February 2021 are days off from the practice. You can visit Mysore city, get some massage, go shopping or just stay back at the Ashram. You will be guided in details at the reception of the Ashram.
Can I follow my Vegan food preferences?
Though we have a delicious food menu prepared under the guidance of Ayurveda doctors, we do have options for students who prefer a Vegan diet. Some students have lactose/gluten intolerance. Though the food options are minimum, we do try our best to offer the delicious food during your training.
When should I have my flight back?
Hatha Yoga Teacher Training completes on 28th February 2021 at 10:00 AM. You will be able to schedule your flight back on the same day after 6:00 PM (evening). Please note that you won’t be able to leave on 27th February..
