Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training Intensive – December 2020

200 Hour Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training – December 2020 is a residential intensive immersion in the practice and teaching of Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series.

During this training, we will be exploring the traditional method of  “Yoga Chikitsa” (primary series of Ashtanga Yoga). The training focuses on the intuitive sequencing method of Ashtanga Yoga, Sanskrit names of Asanas, “Tristhana Krama” of Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Krama of Ashtanga Yoga and the Mysore style of practice.

You will also be working on understanding every asana, its benefit & limitation, hands-on adjustments as well as the techniques to modify the asanas to teach beginners, intermediate and advance levels of Ashtanga practice.

The training offers the opportunity to teach from day 2. Teaching is not something you can learn by just acquiring knowledge or practising it. You need to teach every day under the guidance and feedback of the lead teachers so that you can improve the teaching practice of Ashtanga Yoga.
