200 Hour Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training – December 2020 is a residential intensive immersion in the practice and teaching of Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series.
During this training, we will be exploring the traditional method of “Yoga Chikitsa” (primary series of Ashtanga Yoga). The training focuses on the intuitive sequencing method of Ashtanga Yoga, Sanskrit names of Asanas, “Tristhana Krama” of Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Krama of Ashtanga Yoga and the Mysore style of practice.
You will also be working on understanding every asana, its benefit & limitation, hands-on adjustments as well as the techniques to modify the asanas to teach beginners, intermediate and advance levels of Ashtanga practice.
The training offers the opportunity to teach from day 2. Teaching is not something you can learn by just acquiring knowledge or practising it. You need to teach every day under the guidance and feedback of the lead teachers so that you can improve the teaching practice of Ashtanga Yoga.

Course fee – Yoga Teacher Training
The total course fee is 75,000 INR. This is paid in two installments. The first payment is 30,000 INR (registration fee). This is paid online to confirm the place. Your place is confirmed only after the registration fee is received.
The second payment can. be made online or onsite at the reception on the day of arrival.

If the first payment is made before 1st November 2020, you will receive an early bird discount of 5,000 INR.
The remaining balance will be 40,000 INR.

Day-off during the training
7th, 14th, 21st December 2020 is the day-off and you can use the time to relax at the river, introspect and meditate. Due to COVID-19 situation, we highly recommend not to go out until the end of the training.

Every seventh day of the training is a break for the classes. During this training, 7th, 14th and 21st of December 2020 are days off from the practice.

Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training completes on 28th December 2020 at 10:00 AM. You will be able to schedule your flight back on the same day after 6:00 PM (evening). Please note that you won’t be able to leave on 27th December 2020.
