Transportation: From Bangalore International Airport/within Mysore (included in the course fee).

  • Transportation is arranged according to your flight timings. You do not have to wait for others to travel with you.
  • You will have to reach Bangalore International Airport THE LATEST by August 1st AT 11.00 AM
  • Transportation is included FROM the Bangalore Airport or from Mysore. Transportation is included only if you are reaching by September 30th and August 1st, 2017. Before these dates transportation will be at your own expense.
  • Transportation is NOT included at the end of the course (approx 50€).

Accommodation: SINGLE OCCUPANCY

  • We can accommodate you only ONE day prior the course starts. If you are arriving before July 31st, 2017 you will have to find your own accommodation. Then the transportation will be organised from the guest house or hotel in Mysore (not from Bangalore).
  • Accommodation is included from August 1st to August 28th, 2017 noon. Should you arrive by July 31st, an extra cost will be 20 €/25 $/1500 INR (Any of these currencies) with all meals included. This is paid upon arrival at the office of the Ashram only.
  • You won’t be able to stay after the course. Check out is on August 28th, 2017 at NOON.

Hatha Yoga Teacher Training – August 2017 is a traditional Hatha Yoga Training for to be Yoga Teachers. Traditional Hatha Yoga is the foundation for all yoga practices. This course is designed to bring the practice and philosophy of Hatha Yoga as it was explained in the traditional texts such as Hatha Yoga Pradeepika, Gheranda Samhita and Shiva Samhita.

Therefore, if you have a sufficient practice of Yoga Asanas and you are really preparing to deepen the practice of traditional Hatha Yoga and share the wisdom of Hatha Yoga as a Hatha Yoga Teacher, this course is for you.

HATHA YOGA – COURSE DESCRIPTION 

Four weeks of Hatha Yoga Teacher Training is designed as a gradual process of preparing you as a Hatha Yoga Teacher. You will be exploring the tradition, origin of Hatha Yoga and Yoga Sutras of Patanjali in the philosophy sessions in the first half of the training. The practice prepares with different Yoga Class modules and Asana clinic every day to prepare you for the second half of the training.

You will start teaching in the small group from Day 2. You will also get the individual feedback from the teachers. This will help you in finding the strength and weakness, areas to improve in your skills of teaching.

As we move on you will be exploring on how to design traditional Hatha Yoga classes while understanding the Yoga anatomy of based on Nadis and Chakras, Pranic energy and other dimensions of the human system. Every week, your teaching gets intense and will be facing variety of challenges.

As an aspiring Yoga Teacher, you will have to prepare yourself on how to prepare a Yoga Class module, how to teach and how to keep your personal practice. During the training, you will be investing time and energy in establishing strong personal practice too.

HATHA YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

BEFORE YOU GET REGISTER WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

  • All Classes are mandatory.
  • This course is intensive – have a regular practice 3 to 4 times per week up to 3 to 6 months prior the course starts.
  • Yoga is not a competition, respect your body.
  • Our course is covering 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certification, therefore except the case of severe illness students aren’t allowed to skip any class.
  • Obtaining Yoga Certification will depend upon ethical yoga behaviour and successful completion of theoretical exam and written exam. However if a student is unable to participate in some specific sessions, either the student will be asked to discontinue or only participation certificate will be issued.
  • During the group practice students can lead their class in their own language such as Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese etc.
  • Regarding meals: Unless you have diagnosed allergies there won’t be any change in the meals for you. For lactose intolerance soya milk will be provided. Should you need other vegan products you will be able to purchase them from Mysore. In case of Gluten intolerance white rice and boiled vegetables will be provided. Should you follow ONLY a raw food diet, please buy your own vegetables and fruits in Mysore.
  • Our Ashram is eco-friendly. DO NOT  BRING ANY PLASTIC BOTTLE OF PLASTIC BAG. Bring your own eco bottle. Filtered water is provided in the Ashram. Please respect the collect of waste, do separate paper and tea bag from organic waste.
  • Bring with your own Yoga Mat and Belt.

  • REGISTRATION: HOW DOES IT WORK

    • Fill the Registration Form
    • We will read your Registration Form and reply you within 48 hours. If we feel that we are missing some information we will ask you to clarify some points.
    • Once you have registered with Samyak Yoga your participation will be confirmed and your place is secured only after the deposit of the Registrations Fees.
    • Registration Fees is 30,000 INR (inclusive of all taxes).
    • The remaining amount of the Course will then be 75,000 INR for a registration 3 months prior the beginning of the Course, 85,000 INR for a registration received after the Early Bird duration.
    • Please note that the Registrations fees are NOT REFUNDABLE.

    • Once you have secured your place you will be receiving the Welcome Kit.
  • HOW TO REACH MYSORE?

    • Book your flight to BANGALORE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (also known as Kempegowda International Airport) – Airport Code is BLR.
    • The distance between the Airport and our Shala is 170 Kms.
    • Send us your flight detail information, such as Flight Number, Terminal number, Date and Time of your arrival.
    • We will send you a taxi for your transportation from the BANGALORE AIRPORT. The journey is about 3-4 hours.
    • The Taxi will be waiting for you OUTSIDE OF THE AIRPORT, at the Arrival Gate with a sign “YOUR NAME – SAMYAK YOGA”.
  • WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING ALONG WITH YOU

    • PERSONAL TRAVEL INSURANCE
    • Your own Yoga Mat, Belt, and props if necessary.
    • Your own towel.
    • Your own medicine such as Paracetamol, contact lenses product, personal hygiene product (for ladies).
    • Tiger Balm, Arnica, natural anti-mosquito product.
    • To travel in India no vaccines are required.
    • A container for the water – we are providing filter water, please DO NOT CARRY ANY PLASTIC BOTTLE.
    • NO PLASTIC BAGS are allowed in the premises of Samyak Yoga.
    • Sufficient money in cash for your own needs as the ATM is not nearby.
    • Your smile and a positive attitude.
