SYLLABUS OUTLINE

200 Hour Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training Course is an intensive Yoga Teacher Training. You are required to have a good preparation before joining the training. The following can be the brief outline of the training

  • TRADITION

    Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training follows the traditional practice and teaching of Ashtanga Yoga as per the teachings of Sri K Pattabhi Jois. This training will let you explore the precision of Ashtanga Yoga practice.

  • VINYASA KRAMA

    One of the most significant aspects of Ashtanga Yoga practice is its Vinyasa Krama. It is a very difficult task even for a practitioner to understand the vinyasa counts. You will be exploring the Vinyasa counts, the logics, and understanding behind Vinyasa counts.

  • ALIGNMENTS

    Practicing Ashtanga Yoga with proper alignments is one of the keys to building the Ashtanga practice in a long run. You will explore the safe, precise alignments of the practice during the training.

  • MYSORE STYLE

    Ashtanga Yoga practice takes your journey of Yogic life to the next level with Mysore style of practice. You will be fascinated to discover the layers of practice with intuitive adjustments by the teacher during the Mysore style of Ashtanga practice.

    Registration Fee is paid as the first payment to secure the place in the Teacher Training.

TIPS & THINGS TO KNOW

  • HOW TO REACH MYSORE

    • Book your flight to BANGALORE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (also known as Kempegowda International Airport) – Airport Code is BLR.
    • You can arrive at any time including the midnight. You do not have to wait for other students to arrive. Your taxi will be ready as soon as you arrive at the arrival gate.
    • The distance between the Airport and our Shala is 170 Kms.
    • Send us your flight detail information, such as Flight Number, Terminal Number, Date and Time of your arrival.
    • We will send you a taxi for your transportation from the BANGALORE AIRPORT. The journey is about 3-4 hours.
    • The Taxi will be waiting for you OUTSIDE OF THE AIRPORT, at the Arrival Gate with a sign “YOUR NAME – SAMYAK YOGA”.
  • REGISTRATION - HOW DOES IT WORK

    • Fill the Registration Form
    • We will read your Registration Form and reply you within 48 hours. If some more information is required, you will be asked to share details.
    • Once you have registered with Samyak Yoga your participation will be confirmed and your place is secured only after the deposit of the Registrations Fees.
    • Registration Fees is 30,000 INR (inclusive of all taxes).
    • The remaining amount of the Course will then be 75,000 INR for a registration 3 months prior the beginning of the Course, 85,000 INR for a registration received after the Early Bird duration.
    • Please note that the Registrations fees are NOT REFUNDABLE.

    • Once you have secured your place you will be receiving the Welcome Kit.
  • WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING WITH YOU

    • Personal travel insurance
    • Your own Yoga Mat, Belt, and props if necessary.
    • Your own towel
    • Your own medicine such as Paracetamol, contact lenses product, personal hygiene product (for ladies).
    • Tiger Balm, Arnica, natural anti-mosquito product.
    • To travel in India no vaccines are required.
    • A container for the water – we are providing filter water, please DO NOT CARRY ANY PLASTIC BOTTLE.
    • NO PLASTIC BAGS are allowed on the premises of Samyak Yoga.
    • Sufficient money in cash for your own needs as the ATM is not nearby.
    • Your smile and a positive attitude.
